I have had a rather interesting week in Bexhill paingting a giant duck. Yes, you read that right. Let me explain.
Follow that Duck is a live art trail coming to the streets of Hastings and Rother in the summer of 2022, brought to you by St Michael’s Hospice in partnership with Wild in Art.
For ten weeks in the summer of 2022 the streets, gardens and beaches of Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill on Sea will be brought to life by a flock of fabulous Rubber Duck sculptures. Each giant duck will be hand decorated with individually created designs, many of which will showcase the wealth of artistic talent within East Sussex. The ducks will create a free, fun, family friendly live art trail which will play an integral part in the economic, cultural and social recovery of Hastings and Rother, enticing locals and visitors back into our beautiful local area.
I can't give away my full design yet but here's a sneak peek. I can't wait to see all the ducks in a row!
